Introducing OK Capitol Investments

This site is dedicated to keeping Oklahoma advocates for both limited government and maximum liberty up to date and engaged with our state legislature in the upcoming 2009-10 legislative session

For those who are at a distance from the OK Capitol or have limited time and resources but wish to participate in efforts to curb the tendency of rampant government growth in our state before its too late,  this blog aims to make it easy for you to contribute to the effort.

For those that want to become more involved, Capitol Investments calls for hands on involvement in our state government as the single most effective way to make an impact.  It is the goal of this effort to help Oklahoman’s to become a fixture at our capitol.  From attending committee meetings to getting to know our reps and building a rapport, those with the will and the ability plan to be there for our legislators to provide whatever support they need in order to insure that Oklahoma take its place as the resonant center or our Republic and the true Heartland on America!

 

We should expect our legislators to restrain each and every bill, policy or rule to a legitimate exercise of the constitutional authority that has been granted them- and no more, but if you listen closely to the din of voices clamoring for attention from lawmakers you are unlikely to hear very many calling for LESS from them.  Many of us know that a government big enough to give us everything, is big enough to take everything away and those voices need to be heard now.

So If you think Growing Government is a “Capitol” Offense and are ready to demand LESS of our state government then you are invited to
